The Eric Thorsen Gallery is now introducing internationally acclaimed artist, Sunti Pichetchaiyakul, recognized throughout Asia for his forte in creating realistic fiberglass resin sculptures and Oriental art.


Born in Nakhon Rachasima, Thailand, Sunti has been a professional artist for the past 20 years, with expertise creating fiberglass resin, bronze, wax, plaster, and concrete sculptures, in impressionistic, realistic and surrealistic styles. He has completed commissioned artwork for over 50 temples throughout Thailand, enhancing their interiors with wall murals, paintings, and sculptures, and has worked cross-culturally with clients from Japan, China, Taiwan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, and America. In addition, Sunti's sculptures and paintings adorn casinos, jewelry shops, and mansions of former senators and congressmen in Thailand and Cambodia.

Now at age 36, Sunti has made 37 television appearances, including UBC and CNN World, featured in Thailand, Japan, Korea, and China, and his talent has been publicized in over a dozen magazines and newspapers. Yet, while Sunti's artwork is in high demand, the Siamese sculptor has something unique and affordable for everyone. Indeed, having recently relocated to Montana since April 2008, Sunti has picked up his paintbrush to re-instill life and honor into Native American Chiefs through oil on canvas, acrylic, and traditional Indian ink.
